Dental Check-Up
A six-monthly check-up with the dentist or dental hygienist is very important at any age. During the check-up, the dentist looks at more than just the teeth. Sometimes it is necessary to take X-rays to better determine the dental situation. Based on the findings during the check-up, the dentist can make a treatment plan and/or determines whether a follow-up appointment is necessary. The dentist can also give you different advice about the frequency of your check-ups.
Dental Cleanings
We offer dental cleanings. Teeth cleaning is part of oral hygiene and involves the removal of dental plaque from teeth with the intention of preventing cavities (dental caries), gingivitis, and periodontal disease.
Pediatric Dentistry
We offer Pediatric Dentistry to kids. A six-monthly check-up with the dentist or dental hygienist is very important at any age. During this check-up, the dentist looks at more than just the teeth. Sometimes it is necessary to take pictures to better determine the dental situation. Based on the findings during the check-up, the dentist/dental hygienist determines whether a follow-up appointment is necessary with the dentist or with one of the other specialists. The dentist or dental hygienist can also give you different advice about the frequency of your check-ups.
Tooth Extraction
Tooth extraction is a procedure where a tooth or teeth are removed using dental tools and equipment. Also known as oral surgery, like any other minor surgeries, careful medical evaluation is necessary before a tooth extraction is performed. The procedure is accompanied with pain management for maximum patient comfort.
Dental Fillings
Dental fillings are a hard substance used to repair teeth by filling in holes that have been caused by damage to the tooth.
Periodontology
We offer Periodontitis Diagnoses.
Periodontology = serious gum problems
When the gums are slightly inflamed, it is called 'gingivitis'. If nothing is done about this, this inflammation will spread to the jawbone. If this happens, there is a serious risk. This situation can eventually lead to an advanced gum disease called periodontitis. If you don't treat this, so much jaw bone can disappear that your teeth become loose and fall out.
Implantology
We offer Implantology.
When is implantology a good solution?
• When replacing a single tooth or molar. A crown can then be placed on the implant.
• When replacing multiple teeth. A bridge is then usually made on the implants, but the implants can also serve as support for a removable construction such as a partial prosthesis.
• When replacing all teeth in a jaw. The construction can then consist of a fixed bridge or a removable prosthesis (click denture) that is anchored on the implants by means of, for example, push buttons or a rod construction.

Crown & Bridges
A crown is a permanent replacement of the visible part of a tooth. The porcelain crown has the color and shape of a natural tooth. If you are missing a tooth or if both your tooth and tooth root are damaged, it is possible to first place an implant on which the crown can be attached.
If you are missing one or more teeth, a dental porcelain bridge is a great solution for you. A bridge consists of a fixed combination of three or more elements attached to each other. A bridge spans the part where your teeth are missing and attaches to existing teeth.
Root Canal Treatment
We offer Root Canal Treatment. Root canal treatment is another word for nerve treatment. Severe toothache is often the cause. The living part of the tooth (the 'pulpa') is then so inflamed that the nerve has to be removed to stop the pain. This prevents further inflammation. How much time is needed for a treatment differs per tooth. Treatment on a single-channel front tooth takes less time than on a four-channel molar. The average treatment time varies from half an hour to two hours.
Sealing
Sealing grooves and pits in teeth. The dentist usually seals with a plastic sealant, which can be transparent or white.
Why seal? Sealing is done to protect the molars against cavities (caries). It protects them in those places where they are most prone to cavities, namely in the grooves and pits. These are fragile, especially if they are deep and narrow. The bristles of the toothbrush can hardly clean the grooves. Sealing usually takes place shortly after the permanent molar has erupted completely.
